  • What hours is The Spiegeltent open?

    The Spiegeltent will be open at least 1 hour before the first show each day. 

  • Is the site free to enter?

    Yes, but individual performances within the Spiegeltent are ticketed.

  • Where can I purchase tickets?

    Via this website or at our physical box office. 

    The box office will be open from 17 Apr - 11 May 2019 (Excluding all Mondays)

    5pm or 1 hr prior to first performance whichever is earlier until 15mins after the final performance of the night

  • When is The Spiegeltent's onsite box office open?

  • Is My E-Ticket Enough to Get Into the Show?

    Yes - you can go straight to the venue with your E-Ticket on your phone or device.

    If you require a printed ticket, you may print your confirmation email at home or visit the venue box office during the season.

    For collections, please arrive no later than 30mins prior to your session start time. You will need valid ID for collection.

  • Where is the box office?

    The Spiegeltent box office is located near the entrance of the site at Gold Coast Bulletin Centenary Park, Corner of the Gold Coast Highway and T E Peters Drive

  • Are there any age restrictions to performances?

    Age suitability is listed with every performance at Spiegeltent Gold Coast.

    G: Suitable for All Ages

    PG: Parental Guidance recommended for under 15 yrs

    M: Recommended for 15+

    18+: Restricted to those 18+

     

  • Do children need a ticket for performances at The Spiegeltent?

    Unless otherwise specified, children 18 months and under can sit on the lap of a carer free of charge. Any child over this age must have a ticket. No children, including babes in arms are permitted to Restricted 18+ performances.

  • Is there a discount for children?

    Some productions may offer discounts for children and/or families. If child prices are available, they will be listed as ‘child’ throughout the program. If family prices are available, they will be listed as ‘family’.

     

  • What types of tickets are sold by The Spiegeltent?

    Adult | Full price tickets

    Concession | Government issued concession card, seniors, full time student cards ★

    Premium | Selected premium seating areas close to the stage with priority access to the venue

    Child | Children 12 and under

    Family | 2 Adults and 2 Children or 1 Adult and 3 Children

    Companion Card | Spiegeltent Gold Coast supports the Companion Card program. Companion Card tickets are available over the phone or in person ★

    Proof of eligibility required and must be presented when collecting pre-purchased ticket or when otherwise requested. If Print at Home tickets have been purchased, then Front of House staff will check relevant eligibility at the venue.

  • Am I eligible for concession?

    If concession prices are listed for a particular event, concession prices apply to concession card holders who are aged 16 years and under, full-time students (including International Student cardholders), full pensioners, or welfare benefit recipients.

  • Do tickets include GST?

    Where applicable, GST is included in the ticket price.

  • Can I change my tickets?

    No. It is a condition of sale that there are no cancellations, exchanges or refunds once a purchase has been made.

  • Is the price listed on this website the price I'll actually pay for my tickets?

    All advertised prices include Booking Fees.

  • Can I choose my seat in advance?

    No. All venues and events are General Admission. Guests will be seated on a first come, first served basis. 

  • Can I book a booth in a Spiegeltent?

    Private Booths are available for purchase to performances of Limbo Unhinged only. 

    Limbo Unhinged booths are fixed price and seat up to 8 people. The booth will be reserved under the name of the ticket purchaser.

  • What is General Admission?

    This means that your ticket does not assign you a specific allocated seat at the venue.

  • What happens if I am running late for a performance? Will they let me in? Do I get a refund?

    Being late affects performers and the rest of the audience. This is so important that some artists specifically ask that latecomers not be admitted.

    The Spiegeltent therefore reserves the right to exclude latecomers to certain events or to admit them only during a suitable break in the performance. The Spiegeltent regrets it is not possible to refund a completed booking. Please respect the Front of House staff's instructions.

  • Is there any basic etiquette I need to be aware of?

    You are not allowed to use mobile phones, paging devices, alarm or chiming watches during performances.

    Using cameras or other recording devices is a breach of copyright and absolutely not allowed.

    Be nice and remember to consider those around you trying to also enjoy their night out.

  • Is The Spiegeltent accessible?

     Yes, The Spiegeltent is wheelchair accessible. 

    There are accessible toilets available at The Spiegeltent site.

  • Does The Spiegeltent support the Companion Card Scheme?

  • What should I bring into The Spiegeltent?

    Proof of age or any concession cards you require

    Tickets (if you’re seeing a show at Spiegeltent Gold Coast)

    Shoes (Bare feet are not ok. Wear shoes at all times!)

    During the day... sun protection!

     

  • What can’t I bring into The Spiegeltent?

    Alcohol (We are licenced - you cannot bring in or take alcohol from the area. Just like a pub or club. There is a bag search at the venue entrance, where any banned items will be confiscated and not returned.)

    Liquids (Unfortunately some people want to smuggle in alcohol, which breaches our Liquor License. Only empty bottles can be brought in. But, water is freely available once inside.)

    Pets and animals (excluding assistance dogs)

    Bikes (only permitted outside premise)

    Professional cameras without prior permission (Happy snaps are welcome, but anyone with a professional camera must have prior permission from Spiegeltent Hobart. Please contact [email protected])

    Any other items considered illegal or dangerous

  • Is there a bar or food at Spiegeltent Gold Coast?

    The Spiegeltent Gold Coast is licensed with two bars, one outside and inside the tent. The bar inside the tent will only be open for select shows. Drinks are allowed inside the Spiegeltent. We encourage patrons to drink responsibly. Any patrons who are found to be intoxicated will be asked to leave the Spiegeltent Gold Coast site.

    Patrons are able to bring their own food into the Spiegeltent Gold Coast site. No food is allowed inside the tent (excluding popcorn and choc tops purchased from the Spiegeltent Gold Coast bar).

  • Can I use my camera or recording device at The Spiegeltent?

    The use of cameras, videos or other recording devices is strictly prohibited inside the Spiegeltent Gold Coast venue. Outside of venues - we love happy snaps! Post them, share them and generally snap away (#SpiegeltentGoldCoast, @thespiegeltent).
